WELL........DO YOU THINK YOU CAN BE SO INCLINED TO CUT BACK ON YOUR EXPENSES AT THE SAME % RATIO TO BE PATRIOTIC AND FOLLOW HIS LEAD ? I ' m going to bite the bullet, too!!!! Will you join me! President Obama ordered the cabinet to cut $100,000,000.00 ($100 million) from the $3,500,000,000,000.00 ($3.5 trillion) federal budget. I ' m so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget. I spend about $2,000 a month on groceries, household expenses, medicine, utilities, etc., but it ' s time to get out the budget cutting axe, go through my expenses, and cut back. I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio (1/35,000) of my total budget. After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2,000 a month, I'm going to have to cut that number by six cents. Yes, I'm going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that's what sacrifice is all about. I'll just have to do without some things, that are, frankly, luxuries – six cents worth. Did this President actually think no one would do the math? Please send this to everyone on your list so people understand how idiotic a $100 million cut is in a $3.5 trillion budget – ludicrous

congress are gutless cowards when are you going to start impeachment proceddings againt obama. here is another example of him breaking the law Under current law, the administration is supposed to provide a full accounting every April and October of any proposed regulations that will have a "significant" economic impact. That hasn't happened since 2011 Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/12/06/energy-industry-concerned-obama-could-pursue-end-run-on-climate-change-rules-241630840/#ixzz2EMS3MMZK

I want you to understand how much the voters want to change the current tax structure. I firmly believe that returning to higher tax rates for those making $250,000 or more is absolutely necessary. And so must others, given the broad support President Obama received in the recent election. Lowering taxes on the wealthy has not benefited our nation’s economy. Although returning the tax burden to the way it was when George W. Bush took office would help, I’d really like to see it return to the way it was when Reagan was in office. Thank you for listening to me: someone struggling to stay in the middle class. “There is no greater inequality than the equal treatment of unequals.” Justice Felix Frankfurter

  2. Photo: As a member of the Transportation Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials, this morning I joined Rep. Andrews and Rep. LoBiondo at the site of the recent train derailment in Paulsboro, New Jersey. After our briefing, we updated the media on the latest with the cleanup and NTSB investigation. Once the investigation is complete both regulators and policymakers in Congress need to examine these issues.
  3. Today I welcomed students from the Academy of Notre Dame in Villanova to Washington. Prior to their tour of the Capitol building, I had a chance to speak with these bright young students about the issues before Congress.
