No one should be forced to pay dues in order to work. I offer my congratulations to Michigan on passing Right to Work. http://www.paul.senate.gov/?p=press_release&id=657 …
@SenRandPaul AGREED! No people can either join or not join the Unions! Free Choice is the American Way! God Bless America!
@rmurphy1971 RTW states makes up 2 of top 10 (#WY at 7th, #VA at 8th) but 7 of the bottom 10
@rmurphy1971 I guess #WY is 6th and Virginia 7th if you don't count DC, but still only 2 of top 10. Next one is #ND at 18th not counting DC
@rmurphy1971 19 of bottom 30 states are right to work (and mind you, there are only 22 RTW states on this list)
@fleetadmiralj Nope,47K in RTW states/42K in UNStates.Plus,where are the rights of the people who want to work and don't want tobe in Union?
@rmurphy1971 lol only states that average 47k are Mass, NJ, NY, CT, MD, and WY. only Wyoming is RTW out of that
@rmurphy1971 and to use a favorite conservative line "if you don't like it, work somewhere else"
@rmurphy1971 however, the larger problem is free-rider problem. people getting benefits of unions w/o having to pay dues
@fleetadmiralj @rmurphy1971 Hey Moron, Union jobs are the ones sent overseas. 70% of all jobs sent overseas, are union jobs!
@gopthinking @fleetadmiralj @rmurphy1971 BTW, buy a ticket on Pan Am Airlines & have a Twinkie. Union Moron!
@gopthinking @rmurphy1971 that's probably because they're paid more. so your argument is that lower paying jobs are better?
@gopthinking and hostess has been mismanaged for years. union basically had zero to do with that. management just tried to pin it on them
@fleetadmiralj @rmurphy1971 No. Being in a union will get u unemployed in time. Ask Pan Am & Hostess employees. They KNOW!
@gopthinking because only union shops go out of business. except not.
@fleetadmiralj No but it increases the likelihood, severely! The stats aren't even close!!
@gopthinking assuming you're right (notes you haven't actually cited anything yet), why do you think that is?
