Odessa-Montour Schools

Odessa-Montour Central School District is located at 300 College Avenue Odessa, NY and serves grades K-12 in Schuyler County. Odessa is a village and the Village of Odessa is in western side of the Town of Catharine near the town line and is shared with the Town of Montour. Odessa is north of Elmira, New York. Tourism abounds, thanks to a number of small wineries, the world-famous Watkins Glen Gorge and Watkins Glen International Raceway. The area is also noted for recreational activities, including boating, skiing, hunting, fishing and hiking.

A rich learning environment is what you can come to expect when you plan to enroll your child in this School District. Watkins Glen Schools

Watkins Glen Central School District is located at 303 12Th Street Watkins Glen, NY and serves grades PK-12 in Schuyler County. Watkins Glen Central School District surrounds the tip of Seneca Lake in the heart of New York State’s Finger Lakes region. The district serves the Village of Watkins Glen as well as numerous rural hamlets located nearby in Schuyler County. The school board is comprised of seven elected trustees who serve three-year terms of office. The terms are staggered so two or three board members are elected each year. An organizational meeting of the board is held each July. During this meeting, board members elect a president and vice president.

Bradford School

Bradford Central School District is located at 2820 Route 226 Bradford, NY serving grades PK-12 in Steuben County. The District is rural and a majority of the residents are blue collar workers employed in factories located in neighboring towns outside the District. Major employers in the area include Corning Incorporated, North American Phillips, and Dresser-Rand. The District covers approximately 58 square miles within the townships of Bradford, Bath, Orange, Tyrone, Wayne, and Urbana and the counties of Schuyler and Steuben. Villages within the District are Bradford, South Bradford, and Monterey. It is the intent of the Bradford Central School District to provide an education that will enable each student to achieve his/her highest potential in the realms of academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Through the dedicated efforts of the members of the Board of Education, administration, faculty, staff, parents, and community, it is our goal that each student will become a happy, healthy, contributing member of society. Students and staff must develop higher level thinking skills including problem solving and decision making so that they are equipped for the 21st century. It is the districts responsibility to create a knowledge base, develop competence with
technology, and apply the technology in school and beyond. The district realizes that staff development is one of the most critical factors in the successful integration of technology into the educational environment.
