Department Responsibilities
This is probably the most familiar office in the county building. The DMV, a sub-department of the County Clerks Office, provides many and varied services including: learner’s permits, driving licenses, non-driver identification, registrations for motor vehicles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats, and RVs. Schuyler County’s DMV also offers escort testing and handles enforcement problems.

Hours
Office hours are 9:00 am to 4:45 pm with permits being issued between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. All services are provided by friendly and courteous clerks.

You may also use the drop-off box located to the right of the entrance. When you renew locally instead of mailing them to Albany, 12.7% of that renewal fee stays here in Schuyler County.
