The Congressional Award Foundation was established as a private-public partnership, which receives no federal funding. Each year, Members of Congress host an array of events to support this 501(c)(3) congressional charity. The four anchor events held every year include the Annual Golf Tournament; the Youth Wellness Dinner; the Charity Poker Tournament; and the Youth and Technology Event. Additional State Dinners are held on a rotating basis. The Foundation will also be hosting its first Annual “Youth and the Great Outdoors” event in 2012.

Corporations and individuals can support the foundation by sponsoring each of these events specifically, or by participating as a general donor and attending all of our events throughout the year for a full twelve months. This is one of the very few opportunities to participate in a congressional program supported by Republicans and Democrats alike in both the House and the Senate.
