I represent the 19th District of Illinois and serve as Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Environment and the Economy.

This is my 14th year representing the 19th District of Illinois and serving on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

I married my wife Karen in 1987. We live in my hometown of Collinsville with our three sons: David, Joshua and Daniel.
