Radon exposure causes more deaths each year than drunk driving
Radon is tasteless, odorless and invisible, but the radioactive gas still kills more Americans every year than drunk driving—one reason why UGA Cooperative Extension specialists advise Georgians to test their homes. It is the most common cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, resulting in about 21,000 deaths a year.

Piano virtuoso to perform at Hodgson
Russian virtuoso Evgeny Rivkin, Distinguished Professor of Piano in the Hodgson School of Music, will perform selections from the 18th and 19th centuries Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. in Hodgson Hall at the Performing Arts Center. The cost is $18 or $5 for students.
