Performing Arts Posters are drawn from three collections: Theatrical
Poster Collection, the Minstrel Poster Collection, and the Magic
Poster Collection. While the dates span 1840-1936, the bulk of the
posters were published between 1879-1910. There are no known restrictions
on Performing Arts Posters.
Access: Permitted; subject to P&P policy on
serving original materials.
Reproduction (photocopying, hand-held camera copying,
photoduplication and other forms of copying allowed by "fair
use"): Permitted;
subject to P&P policy on copying, which prohibits xeroxing of original
posters.
Publication and other forms of distribution: There are
no known restrictions on Performing Arts Posters. Most of the material
in this collection was published before 1923 and is in the public domain.
The few that date 1923-1936 do not include copyright notices or symbols.
