With the Green Bay Packers’ 24-10 triumph over the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday night, the winner of Sunday’s first-round NFC playoff game between the Redskins and Seattle Seahawks will play a conference semifinal at Atlanta next weekend.

The Falcons are the NFC’s top seed and have a first-round bye, and will host the conference’s lowest-seeded remaining team next Sunday at 1 p.m.

That will be either the fourth-seeded Redskins or the fifth-seeded Seahawks, now that the sixth-seeded Vikings are out.

The third-seeded Packers will play at second-seeded San Francisco next Saturday night at 8 p.m. Eastern time in the other NFC semifinal.

The Vikings’ loss ensures that the Redskins cannot host the NFC title game even if they advance that far. Minnesota is the lone NFC team that could have played at FedEx Field in the NFC championship game. So Sunday’s game against the Seahawks will be the Redskins’ final home game of the season, whether they win or lose.
