The Navy Memorial’s Statue Outreach Program
Click on the cities listed below and view their Lone Sailor or Homecoming statue placed there as part of the Navy Memorial’s Statue Outreach Program which began in 1997 with the placement of the Lone Sailor statue at the Recruit Training Center in Great Lakes, IL. The first of the Homecoming statues placed outside the nation's capitol was dedicated in San Diego, CA in 1998. Since then, many more communities have obtained statues as you can see from the list below. These various statue sites across America are ideal locations to host a commemorative ceremony or reunion event.
