(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Rep. Todd Rokita (IN-4) today spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives to urge passage of H.R. 6079, the Repeal of ObamaCare Act.

“One thing has been clear, like so many bills, this bill isn’t just about the underlying subject.  What this bill is about is controlling the individual.  This bill is about government oversight, government control, government decision making by bureaucrats hundreds of miles away over something that should be between us and our doctor.

Rokita continues, “In response to the infamous words of the House leadership on the other side of the aisle at that time, we’ve now had a chance to see what’s in it and the fact remains we still don’t like it.”

The House of Representatives is expected to vote on H.R. 6079, the Repeal of ObamaCare Act, on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
