Islamist extremists are now radicalizing Canadians at “a large number of venues,” according to a secret intelligence report released to the National Post under the Access to Information Act.

While mosques with hardline imams are often singled out for spreading violent Islamist ideology, the study found that radicalization has been taking place at a much longer list of locales.

“Radicalization is not limited to religious centres,” says the Canadian Security Intelligence Service report, titled Venues of Sunni Islamist Radicalization in Canada.

Remember folks. The next time someone calls CSIS useless, they're not. Unlike the "public" face of letter agencies in the US that like to make a lot of noise, CSIS(and their predecessors) have always worked quietly in the background. Just like any good intelligence agency should.

this is useless. we have long known that "radicals" use msoques to "radicalize" peaceful Muslims. rememebr the al-Quds Mosque in Hamburg and the 9/11 hijackers? waht we NEED is an examination of WHY so many peaceful Muslims turn "radical". but that of course will never happen.

Hopefully a similar documentation process is in American govt. I kind of doubt it considering your last article was regarding infiltration. When leaders become radicalized their hands stay clean and not bloody. This does not mean Obama or any of his minions are off the hook as a radicalized Muslim. Instead Obama and his minions are frantically trying to prove radicalization in squirrel hunters, target shooters and the Tea Party.

You are parroting the line of most US based media, that there are radical and moderate Muslims. That is like saying there are catholics and non-practicing Catholics. The bottom line is that the so-called radicals are PRACTICING Muslims. Even those Muslims that are not strictly observant are ticking bombs. As witnessed at Ft. Hood and NYC, an apparently benign peaceful Muslim, can turn into a rabid dog as soon as he or she is frustrated in obtaining their Western "dream". They fall back on their barbaric faith and strike out at infidels as the source of their failure, just like Mohammed did. Islam in the most base religion on earth, it does not teach love of anything, only hatred and fear. It debases its followers and turns them into groveling swine. It is the reason the Islamic world is a failure. Without petro dollars streaming in from Western countries and Asia, they would still be picking sand out of thier buttocks with thier left hands while eating with their right hands. The good thing, is that their affluence has rotted them from the inside. The Saudis for instance cannot even maintain their own country, 99% of their workforce are foreigners. They are riding a tiger of their own making and will never be able to get off without being eaten.
