Can’t let the week go by without noting the passing of heroic Canadian immigration official and diplomat, John Sheardown. Although he is sadly not depicted in Ben Affleck’s movie, “Argo” (read my review), about the six U.S. Embassy workers the Canadians sheltered in Iran, Sheardown was even more instrumental than the Canadian Ambassador–who is depicted in the film–in saving their lives, with the U.S. citizens ultimate getting out of the country and to freedom. As Canada’s top immigration official in Iran, he risked his own life to shelter four of the six Americans and got little recognition.

In death, he still gets little mention, but his heroic efforts deserve to be recognized, especially in a day and age in which few would do the same to help Americans to safety from the Islamic threat. And Sheardown was a hero twice over, as he also was severely injured while serving in World War II. It is also worth noting that Sheardown’s life was always in danger, even after he returned to Canada, since his native Windsor (and neighboring Detroit) are filled with pro-Iran Shi’ite Muslim followers of the ayatollahs.

“Hell yes. Of course. Count on us.”

With those words to an endangered U.S. diplomat in November 1979, John Sheardown, then Canada’s top immigration official in Iran, launched what would become known as “the Canadian Caper.”

As you’ve probably heard, with 411 homicides in 2012, Detroit had its highest murder rate in 25 years. But there are other statistics and episodes that are just as scary or even more so. For example, there’s this horror story–one of many such Detroit stories–of the rape of a 55-year-old woman by a Detroit man in front of her stroke victim husband, who couldn’t do anything about it. Watch the video below. And, as you are watching, note that FOX News “reporter” Amy Lange is a fraud, who lied to cover up a story she did in which Dearbornistan-based PFLP Islamic terrorist Imad Hamad praised teaching 3-year-olds to become homicide bombers against Israel. Still, this story rings true, and it’s why most of us in the suburbs are afraid to go to Detroit.

Note that this is Black-on-Black crime. And, yet, rather than rise up and put a stop to it, the people who live in this neighborhood are helpless and do nothing. This is the way it’s been in Detroit for decades. But take away affirmative action or the tiniest bit of handouts and all hell will break loose. Priorities, baby.

Today, the new Congress was sworn in, and it’s being touted as a Congress of “historical firsts.” The media is gushing and celebrating the fact that White man are now the minority among Democrats in Congress. It’s the not-so-subtle racism that we tolerate from them on a daily basis. But somehow I doubt the Founding Fathers dreamt of a Congress featuring the first open bisexual chick, the first to list no religious affiliation (the bisexual chick again), and so on. I also doubt they dreamt of a day when White men were the endangered minority among the opposition in Congress.

History is not about being the first open deviant in Congress (and the first bisexual certainly isn’t the first deviant there, just the latest). History is about being the first free men who fought about states’ rights versus federalism, who were renaissance men and well-read geniuses with tremendous skills and abilities. It isn’t about sleeping with both sexes and bragging about it. By the way, in case you were wondering, there is no first “babymama” in Congress this time around. That’s already happened, as I noted on this site. Frankly, I think “history” won’t actually be made until the first Former Hooker Single Mother Lesbian Muslim Vegan Off-the-Grid Kardashian New Black Panther Sperm Donor is elected to Congress. We should probably just skip ahead in time to the golden age of the “House of Representin’” under President Camacho (from the movie, “Idiocracy,” which really isn’t a movie fiction about the future, but the truth about our present).

I have nothing against the first Hindu in Congress or the first female double amputee, even though I strongly disagree with Tammy Duckworth’s politics (and I oppose women in combat, which is how she lost her legs). But the first open bisexual and the fact that White men are now the minority in the party of Obama–those aren’t causes for celebration. They’re just symptoms of the fact that America is losing its grip and will never regain it from the current decline–a good deal of which happened because of America willingly losing the culture war, not protecting its borders, and creating a gimme, gimme, gimme society. And, to me, one of the biggest tragedies of the new Congress is that the bravest recent Member of Congress–White or minority–Allen West, isn’t among them. Unlike most of the Whites (of either party) in Congress, West actually cared about the preservation of Western culture and values and was proud to say so.

And instead of searching for true conservatives of any complexion, the Republicans are engaged, now, in an affirmative action effort that won’t help them win anything.

The new Congress to be sworn in on Thursday will be the most diverse ever, with women, minorities and gays making large gains in a shift that underscores the political effect of changing demographics and social mores.

In addition to the greater minority makeup across Congress, the House will have its first Hindu member, its first female combat veterans and its first openly bisexual member. The Senate will have its first Buddhist.

The increased diversity comes mainly from House Democrats, with the Republican conference made up overwhelmingly of white, Christian males. That split in some ways reflects the divide in the electorate in last year’s presidential race, with President Barack Obama winning convincingly among minorities, women and gays while losing white voters to Republican Mitt Romney. I think it’s a brilliant stroke of truth in advertising. There’s a reason the word “current” sounds a heckuva lot like “crescent.” Same diff, in this case.

As I’ve noted on this site, Current TV “star” (if you can call her a “star” with only three cat ladies watching her) and former Michigan Governor, Jennifer Granholm, was a whore for supporters of Islamic terrorism, including and especially Ismael Ahmed, who was Granholm’s transition team chief when she become Michigan Governor and who was her handpicked chief of Human Services. Aside from having his first wife “die” by falling down an elevator shaft at a construction site while the two were on a “vacation” to New York, Ahmed committed Medicaid fraud to bring thousands of Muslim illegal aliens to America, used tax money to train Islamic terrorists and get them commercial driver’s licenses HazMat hauling certificates, and opposed the banning of contributions to HAMAS and Hezbollah by American citizens. Plus Granholm is married to a very effeminate “man,” who took her last name. And every Muslim loves to believe that American men are gay like everyone believes Dan Granholm Mulhern probably is.

Another Current host, Joy Behar, walked out on “The View” when Bill O’Reilly said that Muslims perpetrated 9/11 (and then the pandering O’Reilly apologized). So, Al Jazeera’s newly acquired pan-jihadist hag need not be replaced. Plus she embodies the “ugly American” . . . literally. And then there’s Eliot Spitzer. Since we know that the Muslim world’s stereotypical Jew is a greedy, hypocritical criminal who patronizes prostitutes, Client Nine probably doesn’t need to worry about his gig either.

Frankly, it should be no shocker that Al Jazeera and Al Gore–who have mostly the same points of view in hating America and wanting to bring it down–are doing business. I wouldn’t even look for Current TV to change much. After all, it’s basically Al Jazeera English #3 right now. (Al Jazeera English #2 is CNN and #1 is MSNBC. ABC, NBC, and, yes, FOX NEWS are not far off, either, in their viewpoints and “facts” they “report.) I always knew the “C” in Current TV also stood for Crescent and Coran. Hey, maybe they can bring Shep Smith over so he can finally come out of the closet in all ways. We already know he hates Israel and he’s run over people for a parking spot, so he’d fit right in.

Like “The Who” sang, “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.” And yet we’ve been fooled again and again and again (well, some of us):

Just before the new year, we learned that, in mid-December, a private “commercial” U.S. plane made an “emergency landing” in Iran, where the plane and its “American” passengers were helped out by Iran and then sent on their merry way to one of the Arab Gulf states. Who was on that plane and what were they doing?

It’s not every day that Iran lets Americans who “accidentally” end up in Iran go free. Usually, those Americans–even if they hate America (and Israel), themselves, as was the case with the American “hikers”–are accused of being spies for the “evil American Satan” and the “Zionist Empire” and are locked up for a long time, while they are used as a political football. Amir Hekmati, a Shi’ite Muslim from Michigan who served in the U.S. Marines, for example, still rots in Iran, where he is accused of being a CIA spy because he went to visit his grandmother, and that’s despite the fact that he was serving the purposes of the Shi’ites against Sunnis when he served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

So what’s going on here? Who were these “Americans”? And what were they really doing in Iran? I’m not buying this story. My theory: these were Shi’ite Muslims from the U.S. who went to the Gulf states to do some of Iran’s bidding. That’s how it works, and we know that the Arab gulf, especially the United Arab Emirates, is a key shipping point for nuclear material and components headed to Iran. Or could it be a that Barack Obama secretly sent a team of CIA agents or diplomats to negotiate with Iran on this plane? We’ll never know. I’m not big on conspiracy theories, but the “facts” of the story, as they are presented in the news media and Iranian media, don’t wash. Iran doesn’t let people like this go . . . unless they are doing the bidding of ayatollahs. My BS meter went gangbusters when I read this story.

Other than Barack Hussein Obama, the winner of the year in 2012 is . . . (drum roll) . . . Nafissatou Diallo. On December 10th, the Muslim alien from Guinea, who committed immigration fraud to get a green card and then committed more fraud to shake down and take down the International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director, walked out of a Bronx, New York courtroom with a reported $6 million settlement from French billionaire and former IMF-chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, after lying about an alleged rape. It’s probably the most expensive “Lewinsky” ever.

But, far worse, it sends a huge message to the rest of the world that immigration fraud by Muslim aliens is not only rewarded in America, but then you can entrap a billionaire and walk out a rich woman who never has to work again. Only in America. And, yet, they claim the movie “Pretty Woman” is fiction (except that in this case, it would be titled “Hideous Woman,” and no opera-going was involved, but same difference). And Diallo, the phony who claimed to be a devout Muslim who donned a headscarf, never ever was seen in an actual headscarf before. But after walking out of court a newly rich chick, the smiling Diallo donned a leopard-print hijab, a symbol of solidarity with the Muslim let’s-screw-America-and-the-West mentality of the “Religion of Peace.” And religion of $6 million BJs. She had help in all of this from Bronx County Judge Douglas McKeon, who promised her “a fair shake” and gave her far more than that in helping pressure the parties to this absurd settlement. He said, “I’ve developed a great affection for all of you, and have gotten to know Ms. Diallo through the time that I spent with her.” Yup, sounds like a fair and impartial judge to me . . . NOT.

And she had help from federal authorities, who refuse to prosecute Diallo for immigration fraud and strip her of all rights to be in the U.S., despite the fact that she admitted to lying to U.S. authorities in writing about being gang-raped by fellow Muslims and falsely claiming to be the victim of female genital mutilation in Guinea, her sole claims to asylum here in the States. The feds also refused to prosecute Diallo, despite the fact that wiretaps of conversations with her drug dealer boyfriend–an illegal alien in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention–and checks of her bank account records showed that she was illegally money-laundering over $100,000 for the drug dealer illegal alien. And from New York authorities, who refused to prosecute Diallo, after those same phone wiretaps recorded Diallo telling her boyfriend that she wasn’t raped but that she set the whole thing up to shake DSK down. Over a week ago, I showed you the absurd “Demand a Plan” video starring many hypocritical, wealthy celebrities, all of whom can afford expensive, ARMED bodyguards and equally exorbitant high-tech security systems, while the rest of us can only depend on our guns to keep us safe. As I noted, the video is a project of a gun control outfit, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, of which New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is the chief perpetrator. All of these celebs in the video want to take away your Second Amendment rights, and yet most of them engage in and promote gun violence, themselves. Somebody pretty clever, using the sexually explicit screen name, “Mike Hunt” (get it?) created and posted this terrific YouTube video interspersing video of these frauds’ and hypocrites’ unwanted lectures with video exposing what they really are and stand for. Check it out. And then, after that, check out the videos of one great and sadly late celeb who would never ever call for gun control, but for the kind that is comprised only of good and steady aim.

By the way, here is “Mike Hunt’s” commentary with the video (I’ve inserted the dashes). Some of this comments are spot on. The rest sound like Ron Paulistinian nuttery.

These self-serving whores of the 1% love guns and violence as long as they can line their pockets. Hey these hypocritical a–holes “probably” voted for and support Obama…how many kids has he killed with his toy drones and foreign policy? When you elect leaders that commit mass murder, don’t be surprised when the citizens follow suit.

These f–ks can stand on their soapboxes all they want…just as long as they wrap an extension cord around their necks and jump.

I don’t agree with the drones comment or the attacks on American foreign policy. Make no apologies for the drones taking out our enemies with limited harm to us. The drones are the only good thing we are doing over there. We should also be dropping giant bombs, instead of handing out candy and building roads for those who hate us. (And note that he uses the song, “Kill a Celebrity” by Ramallah, a rock band named after the “Palestinian” “capital.”)

And now we see yet another double standard in charging hate crimes. It all depends on whether the Muslim is the victim or the perpetrator.

In recent weeks, two men were killed when they were deliberately pushed off the New York subway platform, and both involve Islam But only one–in which the perceived “Muslim” is the victim rather than the actual perpetrator–was charged with a hate crime. As you probably know, the perpetrator of the most recent case, Erika Menendez, pushed Sunando Sen, an Indian Hindu, to his death from the platform of New York’s 40th Street-Lowery Street station, because she thought he was Muslim and hated Muslims and Hindus ever since 9/11. (Not sure how Hindus, who’ve been repeated victims of Islamic violence and terrorism, got lumped in, but it isn’t the first time American idiots can’t get straight who perpetrated 9/11 (like the ones who murdered a Sikh just after the attacks), and is to be expected since the media, pop culture, and politicians still aren’t sure who committed 9/11 and won’t pin it on the actual perpetrators: Muslims.) She allegedly said:

Retired General Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr., who died yesterday at age 78, was definitely a patriot who served America with honor and valor in battle (including courageously risking his life in Vietnam), and he deserves tremendous credit and kudos for that. But on the Middle East, particularly Israel, his record was mixed and swung both ways, and it should be noted.

When the David Petraeus-Paula Broadwell-Jill Khawam Kelley scandal hit the news (remember that?), I wrote about the fact that Islamic terrorists, including Islamic Jihad founder and chief, Sami Al-Arian, taught our nation’s top generals at Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, and successfully poisoned them against Israel and in favor of Arabism. I mentioned General Schwarzkopf and the fact that he made some statements about Israel that made him a popular guy in Arab and Muslim circles.

While I couldn’t find a lot of the General’s statements on Israel online–this was before the internet, after all, he did spout the usual conventional baloney that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the root of all of our problems in the Middle East. And, as we’re seeing today more than ever, it is no such thing. Despite idiotic claims of celebrated empty suits like Slobbert Spencer (who said it on FOX News), Israel has nothing to do with the ascendancy of radicals in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Syria, and so on. Schwarzkopf’s statement about the Palestinian issue being the key problem in the Mid-East and how it must be solved was celebrated and repeated over and over by James Zogby, the anti-Israel, pro-Hezbollah/HAMAS chief of the Arab American Institute, in columns all over the world. Although I believe it was distorted, after having read the original statement, as quoted by the Los Angeles Times:

The most important factor to stability and peace in the Middle East is the resolution of the Palestinian question. I’d never go into what that solution should be. I’ll leave that to the diplomats. But this is the major impediment to peace.

In Schwarzkopf’s 1992 book, “It Doesn’t Take a Hero : The Autobiography of General H. Norman Schwarzkopf,” Schwarzkopf expressed relief that Israel wasn’t included in Central Command (CENTCOM) with the other Middle Eastern countries, and, instead, remains in European Command (EUCOM), because he didn’t want to offend the Arabs, a dhimmi attitude that is the reason the Arabs respect us less and less:
