TMZ as always keeps bringing the hard-hitting stories, this time with the help of Barbara Walters:

obamawalters

I can’t help but wonder what George Washington must be thinking in the background.

Anyway, not long after TMZ posted that piece of syrup, they had a new headline:

obamagolf

Maybe Bobby gives him pointers on how to keep it hot or something.

After Titcomb (still can’t say that without chuckling) was arrested last year, it was impossible to find a story that reported if the arresting officer was male or female.

Not that there would be anything wrong with that.

I'm sure George Washington knew plenty about keeping it hot. They didn't call him the father of our country for nothing.

Another day…another hard hitting interview from the press…./sarc

O/T…This is just one more reason why elections have consequences:

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor has denied a request to block part of the federal health care law that requires employee health-care plans to provide insurance coverage for the morning-after pill and similar emergency contraception pills.

Hobby Lobby Stores and a sister company, Mardel Inc., sued the government, claiming the mandate violates the religious beliefs of its owners.

Another O/T…Looks like Finestein is going to push legislation that would ban more than just assual rifles. Here is some of what she is pushing for:

Bans the sale, transfer, importation, or manufacturing of:
    120 specifically-named firearms

Certain other semiautomatic rifles, handguns, shotguns that can accept a detachable magazine and have one military characteristic

Semiautomatic rifles and handguns with a fixed magazine that can accept more than 10 rounds

Later in the Legislation I found this interesting little stipulation for the National Firearms Registration Act:

    Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint;

So, we have to have identification and fingerprints to register a firearm, but not to vote…..

Speaking of this interview. Here is why Obama says he really ran for re-election:

President Obama also revealed that the 'real reason' he wanted a second term as president is because his daughter Malia, age 14, is about to start dating boys.
'One of the main incentives of running was continued Secret Service protection so we can have men with guns around at all times,' the father of two joked.

Oh gosh.., isn't that so cute? Why you'd think he was just like any other dad here in the U.S. Except that he wants to DESTROY it and then install his daughters as Duchess of Re-education or something?

  7. Marshall_Will on December 27th, 2012 3:14 pm

Didn't Obie come out of the closet or something? Why are they even going there?

  8. Marshall_Will on December 27th, 2012 3:19 pm

    and have one military characteristic

What's THAT supposed to mean? It has a barrel?

Sporadic posting, sometimes I can read Doug's latest thread, but when I go to comment I get an error page. Is everyone else having unhindered access and this is just me? TIA

So true. I also found it to be another hypocritical moment in which Obama (like most liberals) want to take our guns away, but then makes a comment about wanting them around to protect his daughters.

I think it means that it fires a kinetic projectile..you know a bullet.

I get the errors every now and then and just keep trying till it goes away.

In switching from Mozilla Firefox to Google Chrome, it made viewing the site possible. But still get errors pretty regular, so I have my IT guy kinda' working on it. As soon as he returns my messages..?

He still can't believe he got "re-elected" can he? Dude's still in shock. Nearly 2 months have gone by and that's the best 'line' he can come up with? A lame little quip about his daughters…

Anyone remember that gal claiming to have won the Boston Marathon? They asked her about her training and she didn't have a clue as to what they're talking about!

Well, this clown can't explain how he won either. I read a lame explanation that OH's branch of Politifact pooh-poo'd the 108% turnout as attributable to the transitory nature of the 'students' at Bowling Green. Fo' realz? Did they just open that college?

  13. Truesoldier__ on December 27th, 2012 5:09 pm

It looks like a lot of people can't believe he got re-elected. It is so bad that they cannot sell out the hotels in the DC area for his innaguration. It is so bad in fact that the hotels are slashing prices in an attempt to fill them:
    http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2012/12/25/dc-hotel

And I see that Obama has sent emails to his supporters urging them to come so as to boost attendance:

"And no one has yet booked $100,000 packages at the Fairmont hotel or the Ritz-Carlton."

Nor will they… Just a joke. Even Aunt Bea's ( a 6-room b&b ) can't get to full occupancy..! With only 3 weeks to go and travel/vac. plans to be laid, this ain't happening. It'll be fun to track how many CANCEL.

  15. Truesoldier__ on December 27th, 2012 6:04 pm

Why do I have the feeling that Obama is back form his latest vacation to oversee the mass production of cardboard cuttouts for his innaguration?

  16. Marshall_Will on December 27th, 2012 6:17 pm

Oh gawd! Too funny, I was thinking a "Jewel of the Nile" scale production done by the same promoter that did the Stones tours! Maybe the graphic effects guys for Forrest Gump can create holographic images of the few that show and replicate them across the mall?

I can't WAIT. Dims & doubters will get a full scale, real world model of just how fraudulent this all was.

  17. Truesoldier__ on December 27th, 2012 8:22 pm

Yes, but how many of them will say it was because the evil Republicans and the rich were not willing to pay their "fair share" to ensure that everyone who wanted to go, could go?

  18. Marshall_Will on December 27th, 2012 11:26 pm

Crossed my mind? If something ( and not to seem indelicate to NE readers ) but Hurricane Sandy while a major weather event, seemed 'sufficient' enough for Obie to look 'presidential' how little will it take for his Infatuation NO SHOW to be the fault of something else?

Dim's couldn't even be bothered to make the nat'l convention in Sept. so being low on windshield washer fluid should suffice as an excuse come January… It won't even rise to the level of Locusts! or "my tux didn't come back from the cleaners!?"

For the masses who haven`t heard of his romps in the bath houses and his own stories of his and FMD`s "amber stained shorts" and still think the world of Obie Teh One, the illusion of a hot, vibrant marriage must be maintained.

I for one believe it`s probably Teh Mooch who stirs the coals ………
