Congressman Larry Bucshon Applauds Passage of National Defense Authorization Act

(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08) released the following comment applauding the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013.  The bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support by a vote of 299-120.

Congressman Bucshon (IN-08) states:

            “I applaud my colleagues for coming together in a bipartisan fashion to provide the necessary resources for our nation’s defense. We must always support the brave men and women who volunteer to protect our freedoms and way of life.  Wearing the uniform of the United States is a high honor and should be met with a commitment from elected officials to fully enable the safety and effectiveness of the greatest, professional military in the world.  ”
