NUNNELEE TO HOST TOWN HALL MEETING IN DESOTO COUNTY

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Alan Nunnelee will host a town hall meeting Tuesday, August 7, in Hernando. “I love doing these events because it allows me to listen to the people of the 1^st district and talk with them about what’s going on in Washington,” said Nunnelee. “The topics on everybody’s mind are jobs and the economy.  Republicans are working hard to cut spending and red tape so the private sector can really start to grow again.  We have made some progress, but not as much as I would like simply because the President and the Democrats that control the Senate are determined to spend, tax, and borrow even more.”

Congressman Nunnelee has held over 20 in person town hall meetings since taking office last year.
