Afghan National Army plan and execute a counter-narcotics operation in the village of Talukan, Panjwa'i district, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, the birth place of the Taliban. The Afghan National Army (ANA) lead a joint operation with the Afghan Uniformed Police (AUP), Afghan National Police (ANP) counter-narcotics unit, and Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP). After entering and searching a suspected Marijuana processing compound, the AUP arrest a suspect and confiscate processed marijuana. The Taliban ambush the patrol and ISAF provide air support with the A-10 Warthog and AH-64 Apache. Includes sound bites from 1st Lt. Eric Catalanotti from Grafton, Mass.
