• You do not need a my Social Security account to:
  • Get a replacement Medicare Card.
  • Get a Form 1099/1042 -- Social Security Benefit Statement. (Available February 1, 2013)
    Replace the lost, damaged, or missing tax summary of your Social Security benefits for 2012. (Not available for SSI).
  • Select or change the way you receive information from Social Security if you are blind or visually impaired.
  • Block electronic and automated telephone access to your personal information.
