Savannah Harbor Expansion Project  - Modification of Existing Authorization (902 limit increase)

SAVANNAH HARBOR EXPANSION, CHATHAM COUNTY, GEORGIA.  Request is to increase to $651,857,000 the authorization of the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project from $453,643,000 as recommended by the Chief of Engineers, Army Corps of Engineers.  The project was initially authorized in section 101(b)(9) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1999 (Pub. L. 106-53; 113 Stat. 279- 280).  This is a request for increased authorization, and the project is still subject to appropriation for actual spending.
