Wishing You A Merry Christmas

As families and friends gather together this Christmas, we take a moment to reflect on the many blessings we share as Americans as well as the many challenges that we face as a nation. For too many of our fellow citizens this holiday season comes at a time when finding a job and providing for one’s family is a daily struggle. Many will sit down to the dinner table on Christmas while their loved ones are absent and serving this nation in defense of our liberties. And, there are the families and a community affected by the recent tragedy in Connecticut who remain in our thoughts and prayers.

As Americans, we are blessed to live in a nation that values individual freedom and personal liberty; a nation that remains a beacon of hope and opportunity to the world. We are a compassionate and resilient people. As we move forward in the days ahead and into the New Year, we must be ever mindful of those blessings and committed to serving in whatever way we can to solve our challenges, protect our communities, and ensure we build a nation that is stronger, safer, and more prosperous.

My family and I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a safe and enjoyable holiday. May God continue to bless you, your family, and this great nation.
