Job Seekers Meet with Recruiters at Transportation Jobs Fair
U. S. Rep. Bobby L. Rush and his staff identified 27 public and
private sector employers with more than 2,000 jobs needing to be
filled. During brief remarks to those in attendance at the August 9
event at Chicago State University, Rush in part said this, “I believe
that people who get hired at the start of this railroad infrastructure
project will, potentially, have work for decades. The transportation
sector is doing well and I believe their growth is an early indicator
of an economic recovery,”
