Congressman Lamborn Launches Outreach Program in an Effort to Better Serve Constituents

Last night, in an effort to better serve the people of Chaffee, El Paso, Fremont, Lake, Park and Teller counties, Congressman Doug Lamborn (Colorado Springs) held the first in a series of telephone-town hall meetings. During the hour long call, Congressman Lamborn fielded questions from constituents on a variety of issues ranging from Medicare, to immigration, and the War on Terrorism.

I am always looking for innovative ways to be more accessible to those I represent. Listening to their opinions and answering their questions enables me to better serve them,” said Congressman Lamborn. “This will be the first of similar opportunities for my constituents to voice their concerns. Tele-town halls are an efficient way for me to get feedback from the district and I look forward to reaching out to more constituents in the coming months.”

The intent of these calls is to increase dialogue between the Congressman and his constituents. Over the next few months Congressman Lamborn intends to hold a series of telephone-town halls on a wide-range of topics. For additional information please visit our website at www.lamborn.house.gov.
