Winter Recreating

Weather changes quickly in the mountains, be prepared.

Visitors to the WMNF are rewarded with a slower pace while winter recreating.  It also means extra vigilance - bring more than you need when spending time outside.

Safe Hiking in the White Mountain National Forest

In 2003, the White Mountain National Forest and N.H. Fish and Game Department partnered up to create a mountain safety education program called "hikeSafe."

2013 Temporary Hiring Outreach

The White Mountain National Forest is providing notice that it seeks to fill approximately 8—12 temporary positions, if funding is available, during the summer 2013 field season.
