WASHINGTON, D.C. – Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, today released the following statement after the announcement of plans for Boeing to acquire Summit Aviation in Helena.  All of the 135 employees at Summit will stay on board, and this development represents a major increase in Boeing’s Montana presence, after the test flight facility in Glasgow.

“I want to congratulate the good people at Boeing for recognizing the outstanding product that a Montana company like Summit has produced year after year.  There are some very exciting things happening in commercial aviation, and the Helena community now has a reserved seat in first class as the industry prepares for take off.  I’ll keep working with Boeing or anyone else that can help create quality jobs in Montana.”
