Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Charles W. Boustany, Jr. (R-Lafayette), today reminded Lake Charles residents they could learn about receiving help with their prescription drug costs when the “Help Is Here” bus tour sponsored by the Partnership for Prescription Assistance visits Lake Charles on Thursday, September 27, 2007.

“Prescription drugs are costly, and many in our community have difficulty paying for the medicines they need,” Boustany said.  “The Partnership of Prescription Assistance is a great resource bringing patients useful information and finding them help.”

The “Help is Here” Express will be in Lake Charles at the Allen P. August Multi Purpose Center, 2001 Moeling Street, from 8:30am-10:30am CST.  At the event, trained specialists assist low-income residents with little or no health insurance access prescription drug assistance programs.
