Lafayette, LA – U.S. Representative Charles W. Boustany, Jr., (R-Southwest Louisiana), today made the following statement congratulating the New Orleans Saints on winning Super Bowl XLIV.

"For the Saints, their fans, and the city of New Orleans, winning the Super Bowl was about more than hoisting a trophy,” said Boustany. “It showed the real character of the people of Louisiana--resilient, determined, fun-loving and loyal. The guys on the field won the prize, but the people of New Orleans and Louisiana are basking in the glow. The Saints finally went marching into a Super Bowl...and left dancing out! Congratulations!"
