Boustany Receives U.S. Chamber of Commerce's "Spirit of Enterprise Award"

 
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Charles W. Boustany, Jr., MD, R-Southwest Louisiana, received the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s 2007 “Spirit of Enterprise Award” for promoting responsible economic growth.
 
As we continue to rebuild Southwest Louisiana, I am proud of the cooperation between our civic and business leaders,” Boustany said. “I will continue to support sound economic principles to strengthen Southwest Louisiana businesses and their employees.”
 
Boustany received this year’s award for his record on the Water Resources Development Act, which facilitates commerce in the nation’s waterways and ports, as well as trade promotion and rules governing investment.
