Congressman Camp Seeking Angels in Adoption Nominations

Washington, DC – Congressman Dave Camp (R-MI) is seeking nominations for the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s (CCAI) Angels in Adoption program.  Every year, CCAI invites Members of Congress to select an individual, couple or organization from their state or district who have made an extraordinary contribution on behalf of children in need of a family.  As a member and former chairman of CCAI, Camp has been a proud participant in the Angels in Adoption program.  Past honorees include foster parents, adoptive parents, social workers, adoption advocates and foster care organizations.  The selected Angels in Adoption award winners receive an invitation to attend three days of advocacy training, networking events and a gala held in their honor in Washington, D.C.  

If you would like to nominate an exceptional individual or organization from Michigan’s Fourth Congressional District who has improved the life of a child through adoption, please submit the name, contact information and explanation of why your nominee deserves recognition to Ashton Strohkirch at (202) 225-3561, or via email at mi04staffassistant@mail.house.gov.
