'Missouri News MoDOT ready for federal review requested by NAACP'
9/1/09Federal officials who oversee economic stimulus spending will review how the state transportation department is spending it.
The review comes as a response to a complaint filed by The Missouri Chapter of the NAACP against MoDOT. The NAACP claims MoDOT hasn’t awarded enough contracts to minority firms, a violation of federal guidelines.
