- Congressman John Campbell: I strongly oppose the “fiscal cliff” bill passed by the Senate last night. We will never solve the nation’s fiscal problems without reducing spending. The Senate bill not only doesn’t cut spending, it actually increases spending substantially over existing law. We should amend the bill to reduce spending and send it back to the Senate today.
