Ohio Airports Receive FAA Grants

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) today announced the allocation of two Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grants to the Coshocton County Regional Airport and the Holmes County Airport.  

Coshocton County Regional Airport received $154,650 to rehabilitate existing runway pavement and the Holmes County Airport received $570,463 for a runway extension. U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs (R-OH) released the following statement in response to today’s awarded grants:

“I am pleased the FAA has provided the necessary funding for these important runway projects.  This rehabilitation and expansion at Coshocton County Regional Airport and Holmes County Airport will help facilitate future business development and better support the emerging energy industry with the development of the Utica shale.”
