Derek Carr brilliant in late-game rallies

The Raiders QB went 9-of-15 for 130 yards and two TD with the Raiders trailing in the second half Sunday, and 9-of-13 after falling behind by 15 points. Carr now has 13 TDs and no INTs when trailing in the second half or OT this season. (ESPN Stats & Info)

If the regular season ended today...

Amari Cooper describes go-ahead TD

Cooper told reporters after the game that his 37-yard TD in the fourth quarter was initially a run play. Once it was changed, the score was simple. "Just ran the route," Cooper said. "Derek threw it perfectly, we scored." Sights and sounds

Murray's money on goal-to-go

Both of Latavius Murray's rushing TDs on Sunday came in goal-to-go situations. He has 10 such TDs this season, tied with LeGarrette Blount for the most in the NFL. Both TDs were also on first down, and his eight TDs on 14 first-and-goal rushes is the league's highest conversion percentage.

The Raiders cleared their latest hurdle with another comeback victory, this one against the Buffalo Bills. But an even bigger challenge awaits Oakland...on a short week...against an ancient rival...on the road. Paging the Kansas City Chiefs.

"It's an exciting time. It's an exciting time in Oakland...we've come a long way so we're enjoying it. But we have yet to do anything." - Derek Carr

"Yeah, I hope so." - Michael Crabtree, on his left ring finger, after it was popped out of place in the game.

The Raiders came back from a 24-9 deficit to win. The last time they came back from at least 15 down to win was Sept. 10, 2000 against the Colts, when they trailed 21-0 and won 38-31.

LeSean McCoy references "super snowball effect" of Raiders' 29 unanswered points. McCoy adds "it sucks" to lose the way Bills did.

"All three phases started clicking...when we have that type of effort, we can have a happy ending." - Jack Del Rio

There should be some frustration with Amari Cooper fantasy owners. Cooper caught a touchdown today and he posted 59 yards receiving. But he only saw 4 targets. By comparison, Michael Crabtree was targeted 11 times by quarterback Derek Carr. Given his smooth route running -- and ability after the catch -- I'm surprised Cooper isn't getting more touches in the game plan.

ESPN Stats and Information

Raiders QB Derek Carr was 10-22 in his first 2 seasons as a starter. He's now 10-2 this season.
