Live-Streamed Conversation with Energy Secretary Chu
Watch "The Future of the Wind Industry": http://energy.gov/live
Renewable energy has created thousands of good-paying, middle-class jobs for hardworking Americans. But these jobs and our energy security are at risk. Every day Congress delays action on common-sense policies like extending the wind Production Tax Credit, we are effectively encouraging energy companies to ship these middle-class jobs overseas. There is no one solution, no silver bullet, to achieving energy security. That is why I am fighting for an all-of the-above strategy — silver buckshot, if you will — that includes renewable sources such as wind, solar and biofuels alongside traditional fuels like natural gas.
In an effort to keep this discussion going, I will be joining Energy Secretary Steven Chu on Wednesday for a live-streamed discussion about the wind PTC, renewable energy and our pursuit of an all-of-the-above energy strategy.
Please join me Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. MT / 4 p.m. ET by tuning into http://energy.gov/live. Please submit your questions by:
