Appropriations Tracking

The Committee's Statutory Responsibility

One of the Budget Committee's tasks, mandated by the 1974 Congressional Budget Act, is to monitor annual appropriations bills and compare the spending levels to those set forward in annual budget resolutions to determine if they are within budget. This process is known informally as appropriations tracking. Below, you will find links to tables with the latest information on the tracking process for this fiscal year. These tables are current as of August 3.
