FY14 Appropriations Form

Note: Fields marked with an * are required.

The Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Inouye enacted an earmark moratorium on February 1, 2011 for the continuity of the 112th Congress. Senator Murkowski expects the ban on earmarks to be extended into the next Congressional session. Senator Murkowski will continue to honor his decision and does not plan on formally submitting any earmark request to the Senate Appropriations Committee. However, the Senator believes it is still important to know the needs of Alaska and the best way to know that information is to hear directly from the people of Alaska, so the Senator’s policy moving forward will be to continue to solicit that information from towns and communities across the state through a much shorter request form for the FY14 Appropriations cycle. The information will be extremely valuable as the Appropriations Committee turns to setting funding levels for a host of programs that are critical to Alaska and also as the various Departments and Agencies begin to make grant and allocation decisions. Please complete and submit the form below to file a FY14 Appropriations Request. The deadline for FY14 Appropriations Request is February 24, 2013.
