- James SchulDear Congressman Turner: I am writing to ask that you OPPOSE S. J. Res. 15. Introduced by Congressman José Serrano (D-New York), it gets rid of term limits for the office of the President of the United States. That could give President Obama a possible third term in the 2016 Elections, which scares me. I am also scared that it could override the process granted to the states thanks to the 22nd Amendment to the United States Constitution of whether to grant an additional term to the office of the President. The states, not a lone Congressman, should have the final say on whether term limits for the Presidency should be abolished. Again, I am asking you to OPPOSE S. J. Res. 15. Our President should never be allowed to circumvent the United States Constitution.18 hours ago
