Flags can be flown over the U.S. Capitol any day of the year for special occasions or events. Flags provided by Senator Cochran’s office are accompanied by a certificate showing that it was flown over the Capitol. All flags are made in the United States.
To request a flag, Senator Cochran offers two options: order online or download and return the Flag Request form below, with the correct payment to the Senator’s Washington, D.C. office.
Option 1 (Fastest Method): Submit Your Flag Order Online
Click this link to begin the flag request process online. You will be directed to Pay.gov, a website operated by the U.S. Treasury Department to make secure electronic payments to federal government agencies.
Please submit your online flag request no later than a week before the fly date. After the flag has flown, please allow for approximately 3 to 4 weeks to receive your flag. The flag office requires two weeks to fulfill a request. Once the request is filled, flags are mailed through the regular postal mail.
Option 2: Download and Print This Flag Request Form
Please place orders no less than six weeks in advance to help secure a particular date. However, due to the large number of flag requests no date can be guaranteed. The Senate mail process takes several weeks due to security procedures, and the flag office requires two weeks to fulfill a request. Once the request is filled, flags are mailed through the regular postal mail.
