Ten years after September 11th, first responders still don't have an adequate broadband emergency communications network. Senator Lautenberg joined first responders and Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand to call on the Super Committee to include legislation in their proposal that would reduce the deficit and provide firefighters, police, and emergency workers with the technology they need.
