On October 13, 2011, I sent a letter to Edward DeMarco, Acting Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the conservator of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, expressing my concerns with the expenditures that Fannie and Freddie made in sending 87 employees to the Mortgage Bankers Association conference held this week in Chicago.
