Dear Friends,
It was great to be home in Alaska over the July 4 week, and I was glad to spend time celebrating our nation’s independence with Alaskans in Fairbanks, Bethel, Quinhagak, Seward, and Anchorage. In Quinhagak, I saw first-hand how federal dollars contribute to projects that are improving the community from safe, efficient housing to a new public safety building. I appreciate these reminders of just how much Alaskans can accomplish when they combine a healthy spirit of independence with a good opportunity to get something done. I hope you will take a few moments to look through the following federal funding opportunities and see which ones might help your organization or community accomplish goals.
