Dear Friends,
It's finally summer in Alaska and we are all taking advantage of the long daylight hours to fit in much play and work. I just returned from a productive trip home, during which I had the chance to visit with friends in Ketchikan, Petersburg, Fairbanks, Fort Yukon, Anchorage, Palmer, and Wasilla. It was great to be home, and I enjoyed seeing many of you at the annual Alaska Congressional Delegation Grants Symposium.
Nearly 200 people showed up to take advantage of the information provided at the 2012 Alaska Congressional Delegation Grants Symposium.
The Grants Symposium is an excellent chance to connect with resources to get projects and programs going, and I was happy to host the event with my partners in the congressional delegation. If you weren’t able to attend or view the livestream, look for footage of the event coming soon on my website.
As a way to stay connected and continue to bring you information about funding opportunities, I’m happy to share my first monthly grants e-newsletter.
