Internships
An internship on Capitol Hill is an excellent way for college students to learn first hand how the legislative branch of the federal government operates, while gaining critical job training skills in a fast-paced, exciting work environment.
Interns contribute to the day-to-day operations of the office and have the opportunity to attend briefings and hearings and assist staff. For students wishing to pursue a career in politics or government, an internship in a Congressional office provides invaluable resume-building experience.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in interning in my Washington, D.C. office, please contact Blandon David at 202-224-2854 or internship@kirk.senate.gov.
