Serving Illinois
Cutting through the red tape of the federal government can be frustrating and confusing. My staff and I are able to act as intermediaries between you and a federal agency when you have a problem. This could be anything from not receiving your social security check, to expediting a passport request, to making service academy nominations. Caseworkers in my Chicago and Springfield offices specialize in getting answers to your questions.

- Bloomington
- Quad Cities
- Southern Illinois
- Peoria
- Rockford

- Champaign-Urbana
An internship on Capitol Hill is an excellent way for college students to learn first hand how the legislative branch of the federal government operates, while gaining critical job training skills in a fast-paced, exciting work environment. Every Thursday when the Senate is in session, and legislative business is taking place, Senator Richard Durbin and I host an open forum for residents of Illinois who are visiting Washington, D.C. for coffee, donuts, and conversation.
