Nevada Wildlife Director Kenneth Mayer Appointed to Conservation Council and Advisory Group

Kenneth Mayer, director of the Nevada Department of Wildlife, has been appointed by Secretary Salazar to represent the Pacific Flyway on the North American Wetlands Conservation Council and to become a member of the Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act Advisory Group. Members of these committees review proposals for wetlands conservation grants in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, and make policy recommendations for migratory bird and habitat conservation projects throughout the Western hemisphere.
