    Hi everyone:

What a weekend! We have been out and about (Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties) with other Democrats cheerleading and working to get out the vote. So many great, committed D's working "overtime" to make calls and c...
anvass neighborhoods to help get Obama and other Democrats elected. Today I had the good fortune to check in with our senior Senator Ron Wyden and here we are chatting out in front of the party headquarters in Washington County. Ron is amazing -- I was literally "on the bus" with him when we were both law students in the 70's. Back then, he was leading a trip of seniors (the "Gray Panthers”) to Salem to lobby for their consumer rights. Other than a few gray hairs of his own, he hasn't changed much. What energy and what a true public servant! I am committed to working with our U.S. senators, congressional delegation and all our state electeds to serve Oregonians and look out for our most vulnerable citizens. Thanks so much for your support!

  9. It's true! In Nebraska, polls show my friend Bob Kerrey within striking distance. When he returns to the Senate, I know that Bob will be a clear and powerful voice for change and against special interests. Please join me and make a donation to Bob and let's win one in Nebraska!
  10. Kate Brown and Brad Avakian have spent their careers fighting for us – so let’s fight for them. Jeff Merkley for U.S. Senate and I are pledging to vote for Kate and Brad. Please join us and take the pledge today.
  11. Just a quick reminder for all my friends: Today's the last day Oregonians can register to vote in the November election. If you aren't registered, take a minute to do so online right now - and then remind your family and friends to do the same. Thanks!
