Metallica is coming to Detroit in June for the Orion Festival. It will reportedly be held on Belle Isle.
The Free Press cites a Detroit City Council meeting agenda, approving the item, as proof the Orion Festival's location has been determined.
The story mentions that Belle Isle could also host the event in 2014 and '15 as well.
Detroit was named the location of the weekend-long event last week on Metallica's website.
A video on the band's site directs you to a website called Orion Music + More that says details will be released in February.
Metallica has a recap of the 2012 Orion Festival in Atlantic City in YouTube format.The band's last visit to Detroit was in 2009 at Joe Louis Arena.
Expect Metallica to play all - or at least most - of its top songs at the festival.
