Les Schwab Invitational: Lake Oswego vs. Sunset

OregonLive.com: Not yet! I'm still going strong here at my sixth game of the day. I'll have full play-by-play of the second half. Looks like this is going to be a hard fought game.

Guest - You crash.

OregonLive.com: Sorry for the limited updates folks. Wanted to make sure we have some photos from the action as well tonight. I'll post halftime stats in a few moments.

OregonLive.com: Lake Oswego looked like it was going to pull away in the middle of the second quarter, but Sunset closed strong in the final two minutes behind tough halfcourt defense to keep it close. Lake Oswego 26, Sunset 20 - Halftime

OregonLive.com: Lake Oswego 12, Sunset 8 - End 1st Q

OregonLive.com: Griffin off the mark on the freebie. Sunset can't score on the other end and the quarter comes to a close.

OregonLive.com: Connor Griffin with a pump-and-go drive to the rack and a two handed dunk to finish as he gets fouled. Nice take.

OregonLive.com: Colin Caslick hits a three after a Sunset bucket and then follows with a transition two. LO up 10-6.

OregonLive.com: Ridiculously sloppy possession with bodies all over the place for Sunset and somehow the Apollos make it work as Tyler Gutierrez gets two inside. Calvin Hermanson hits a three on the other end for LO. 5-4 Lakers halfway through the opening quarter.

OregonLive.com: Joe McFerrin draws a foul inside for Sunset and hits two at the line. 2-2.

OregonLive.com: LO misses three shots on one possession. Sunset answers with a miss. And finally after the teams combined to miss 8 shots to start the game, Connor Griffin gets one to drop off the glass for Lake Oswego.

OregonLive.com: Lake Oswego and Sunset exchange turnovers. LO's Calvin Hermanson gets fouled, but misses two at the line. We're still scoreless a minute into the game.

OregonLive.com: The final game of Day 1 at the Les Schwab Invitational between Sunset and Lake Oswego tips off in three minutes. We'll have updates throughout.
