Missing Wilmo dog found in time for Christmas
By Chris Carl

It may have been the best Christmas present an elderly Wilmington woman could ever receive - being reunited with her missing dog.

The dog, named Noel, went missing on Friday when the woman's car was stolen while she went into St. Anthony's Church.

A family found the pup in the area of 29th and Jefferson Streets on Friday, and called Wilmington Police on Monday when they saw news coverage about the incident.

Noel, who suffers from partial blindness and cataracts, was reunited with her 77-year-old owner on Christmas Eve.
