Hamas is the "Palestinian" version of ISIS (and Boko Haram, Hezb'Allah, Al-Qaeda et al. It is the same fight, the same struggle and freedom loving peoples must unite to defeat it.

On Sunday, June 17, from 3:45 to 7PM, the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and freedom activist Assaf Shilony will be hosting a rally in New York City's Union Square from 3:45 to 7PM. Speakers from a huge variety of backgrounds will stand for Israel and all the minority populations worldwide that are threatened by the global jihad.

Speakers will include AFDI President Pamela Geller; AFDI Vice President and Jihad Watch director Robert Spencer; New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind; Israeli scholar Mordechai Kedar; Sudanese freedom activist Simon Deng; Ashraf Ramelah, the head of Voice of the Copts; Arish Sahani, Senior Vice President of the Indian American Intellectuals Forum; and a host of other representing the populations around the world that face the greatest threat today from Islamic jihad violence and supremacism. Also invited are Indian, Yazidi, Kurdish, Sikh, Assyrian and Buddhist leaders. A variety of well-known singing groups will also provide entertainment.

 

AFDI’s Geller said in a statement: “Israel is on the front lines of the global jihad, and we stand resolutely and proudly with her. We must also remember that the same jihad that threatens Israel threatens free people around the world. That’s why we are featuring speakers from groups from around the world – people who have experienced the horror of Islamic jihad firsthand. We need to unite and stand together for freedom.”

Geller advised demonstrators to come to the event with signs showing support for Israel and minorities subjected to genocide, violence and oppression by Islamic jihadists. She added: “We are going to stand together for freedom every step of the way, and never give in to the forces of darkness, lies and intimidation.”

 

AFDI stands for:

• The freedom of speech – as opposed to Islamic prohibitions of “blasphemy” and “slander,” which are used effectively to quash honest discussion of jihad and Islamic supremacism;
• The freedom of conscience – as opposed to the Islamic death penalty for apostasy;
• The equality of rights of all people before the law – as opposed to Sharia’s institutionalized discrimination against women and non-Muslims.

AFDI makes history in Union Square

Today was an historic day. For the first time, defenders of Israel and representatives of minorities persecuted by Islamic jihadists from around the world gathered together to stand for life and for freedom. Finally, the truth.

Thousands of people gathered in Union Square for our AFDI rally, and onlookers couldn't have missed the difference between our rally for life and the pro-Palestinian rallies for death: our rally was a true celebration, with singing and dancing and joy in living -- a stark contrast to the genocidal Jew-hatred that at the rallies of supporters of jihad. We stood in Union Square today, all the victims and potential victims of jihad, in the coalition that needs to come together worldwide to defend freedom. We stood for life against death, for truth against lies, and for good against evil.

Our speakers provided harrowing insight into the full breadth and depth of the havoc and destruction that Islamic jihadists have unleashed upon the world. New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind gave a stirring appeal for Israel in its struggle against the jihad, and was seconded by the eloquent Ethiopian Jewish spokesman Mordechai Tasman and an IDF soldier who spoke of his own experiences. Dr. Mordechai Kedar flew from Israel for the rally, and showed how the jihadists are proceeding according to quranic imperatives.

What was unprecedented and groundbreaking about our rally was that these strong defenders of Israel were joined by others: Yazidi spokesman Haider Elias, the toweringly courageous and eloquent Sudanese freedom fighter Simon Deng, Palestinian Christian Mazzen Warra, Pastor Matthew Singh of Christians United for Israel, Indian human rights activist Arish Sahani, and Kurdish spokesman Salar Motidi -- all of them recognized that we all face the same foe, and all of them ringingly affirmed the necessity for us to stand together for freedom.

The singing and dancing was striking, exhilarating. This was most truly a celebration of life. Singers Ron Eliran, Ari Lesser, and Beni Elbaz had the crowd on its feet, celebrating the beauty of life, of existence, of freedom. We love life; they love death. This is our power. Yet while the singing and the dancing were illustrative of our love for life, above all the speakers brought home the gravity of the situation we face: the grim reality of the global jihad that Obama is determined to abet and our other politicians are determined to ignore.

Predictably, the mainstream media ignored this groundbreaking event. CBS Local interviewed me, but their piece on the rally didn't use a single word I said, and characterized the rally as solely pro-Israel, without any mention of our stand for persecuted Christians, Yazidis, Hindus, etc. And the main information CBS's report gave was how many "Palestinians" have been killed in the recent conflict. Typical and egregious. There were speakers from all over the world, representing minorities at the front lines of Islamic State persecution, including the Yazidis and the media carried not a word -- this wasn't newsworthy?

Huffington Post pimps for Islamic State and Hamas, defames their victims

This sums up what we're up against. It best illustrates the war in the information battlespace. Who is the Huffington Post working for -- the Islamic State? Clearly, they'd like to see my severed head on a pole.

Look at this report. Where is the coverage of the Yazidi speaker? The Kurd leader? The Hindu activist? Thousands are being slaughtered, and this troll is making fun of the international human rights hero, Simon Deng, a former Sudanese slave? Imagine recording three hours just to try and capture a wrong word or a flubbed line or a forgotten name. What's funny is that Simon had rattled off a cascade of complicated names of numerous Islamic terrorist organizations, but that didn't matter. When he momentarily forgot the Islamic State, Paul Vale pounced, like the vulture he is. And I love how he put "minorities persecuted under Islamic rule" in quotation marks, as if I made up the fact that there are religious minorities in Muslim countries, and that they're being violently persecuted. Shame on them.

The whole point of the Huffington Post covering this rally was to mock, smear, and destroy anyone associated with this issue. This is not coverage, this is Islamic propaganda.

Their article is particularly targeting young people. What young person would want to be associated with this kind of coverage? It included nothing about the testimony from these unsung heroes. And the number of attendees is, typically, drastically low. They did the same thing with our Ground Zero Mosque rally as well -- we had 30,000, and Keith Olbermann said we had 500. So if Paul Vale says we had 150 yesterday, which is refuted by the pictures I posted here, then you can be sure we had 5,000.

Notice also how he makes no mention of the sponsoring organization, the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) -- instead, it's "banned Geller," "anti-Muslim Geller." So opposing the oppression and genocide against the Yazidis and others is "anti-Muslim"? And apparently Paul Vale and the Huffington Post are on the side of the slaughterers.

As for the headline, pointing out that I am banned in the UK, that is a moment of shame not for me, but for Britain. Any liberal, thinking, freedom-loving human being knows how wrong it is to ban a human rights activist who stands for freedom and individual rights against oppression and subjugation. Instead of blaring it in a headline, they should be hanging their heads in shame. That's a black mark against them, not me.

Getting your news from vicious trolls like Paul Vale is hazardous to your freedom.

Imagine: this is a big story on Huffington Post UK. They came across the world to mock and ridicule those who stood for freedom. And the American press wouldn't even cover it. Which is worse? Who is more culpable?

While this entrepreneurial chap had a bag full of Israeli flags... ...which he was peddling for $10. Then there was this piece of couture. And this Panama hat. And the Horn of Helm Hammerhand. "Flags, flags, flags, flags..." Half of Chas and Dave turned up. As did a man dressed as the late Bob Crow. The rendition of Israel's national anthem was sensational. But there were inevitable confrontations with passers-by... ...with one woman taking exception to all Muslims being branded terrorists. "...Try and kill me, bitch." Then there was this tense beard-off. ...while this chap looked on. And finally a sale!

Despite threats of violence, the huge rally for Israel drew tens of thousands of Israel lovers. What an awesome site. The event is under the hashtag #NYClovesIsrael -- tweet it, post it, share it. Let Israel know she is not alone in the fight for freedom and life. I was honored to speak before a crowd of close to 10K:

I will be appearing on Ezra Levant's show "The Source" on SUN TV and Straight Talk with Jerry Agar on the same network today to discuss the lawsuit we filed against Edmonton in Canada for taking our ads after a handful of Muslims complained.

Here is my affidavit.

The ad was designed to provide Muslim women and girls with help, should they feel threatened. The ad was also designed to challenge and repudiate the opinion that honour killings are in any way acceptable or justified. The ad also sought to change public attitudes, to bring support for gender equality and the rule of law.

The ad featured seven women who were honour killed because they preferred to live by Western and progressive values rather than medieval or fundamentalist values, and to assert their equal dignity as human beings.

Honour killing typically occurs because a woman is considered to have sullied the family's honour through some sexual indiscretion or even through perceived immodesty; her killing is considered to cleanse the family's honour.

Honor violence, honor murder, is not just a tribal custom; it’s Islamic law.

Girls threatened with honor killing need and deserve protection.

In Canada today, helping Muslim girls is “racist.” Edmonton Transit last year caved in to Islamic supremacist demands and took down bus ads sponsored by my organization, the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), offering help to Muslim girls who were living in fear of honor killing. But we are fighting back. We’ve initiated a court action to defend free speech – which is supposed to be protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Nowadays it seems increasingly in both the U.S. and Canada that free speech is only allowed to those whose positions are popular. But the whole purpose of free speech, the foundation of any free society, is to protect people who tell unpopular but necessary truths. If any group has the power to censor messages it doesn’t like, society is no longer free.

The Antisemitic Boston Transit Authority (MBTA) Strikes Again, AFDI Responds

The Boston transit authority (MBTA) has accepted another vicious antisemitic campaign to run on Boston subway platforms.  This is not the first blood libel against the Jews that Boston authorities have run..

This is the same antisemitic authority that refused to run our pro-Israel ads after they ran a different Jew hating campaign. We are currently embroiled in a lawsuit against the MBTA for violating our first amendment rights. They should also be sued for racist based Jew hatred. They allow vicious libels but refuse a Jewish defense ad.

What is the goal of the most recent ad now running on D.C. buses?

I hope the ad will help people start to become aware of Islamic history and the role of Muslim world during the Holocaust, particularly the Mufti of Jerusalem and his support for Hitler. I hope they will begin to understand and explore Islamic history and the terrible toll that ignorance of that bloody history exacts. Once this is understood, the Islamic/Israeli conflict makes complete sense, the Hamas charter (citing Allah and predicting that Islam would destroy Israel) makes complete sense, and the jihad against the Jews makes complete sense.

Why choose bus ads as a format to spread your message?

We were responding to the AMP bus ad that ran on that same bus line.

What are your thoughts on the American Muslims for Palestine ads that ran a couple months ago?

It is a vicious and ugly libel against the State of Israel and the Jewish people.

An AMP spokesperson told the Washington Post: ““We typically don’t react to Pamela Geller, because this is the kind of thing she does, countering political speech with racist, Islamophobic speech.” How would you respond to this comment?

This is how Islamic supremacists and anti-Semites always try to frame the narrative: their libel is “political speech,” while our truthful ad is “racist” and “Islamophobic.” What race is jihad terror against innocent civilians? They are fronting for genocidal jihad groups that celebrate the murders of Israeli families in their beds and on buses and restaurants, and they’re trying to claim the moral high ground?

They won’t debate because they can’t, so they call names instead.

Southern Poverty Law Center calls AFDI a hate group. What’s your response?

Who appointed them the judge of what a hate group is? Southern Poverty Law Center is the real hate group, defaming and smearing every group that dissents from its hard-Left agenda.

Their members have targeted family group leaders for assassination. SPLC presents a very real danger to our freedoms.

What kind of personal feedback have you gotten about the ad?

I have been inundated with messages of gratitude from people who are so happy that the truth is finally being told. I have received hundreds of emails in support, and a wave of additional donations to take the campaign nationwide.

People want the truth.

Do you plan on putting out more ads, bus ads or otherwise?

Yes. We are taking this campaign nationwide.

Here’s the thing — the media and various groups representing yesterday’s men are floored by the image of Hitler, but why aren’t they just as floored by the Muslim Hitler, the Mufti al-Husseini? He is as monstrous a historical figure as Hitler, and yet he elicits little to no reaction — further proof of the scrubbing of jihad and Islamic jihad from the pages of history. Al-Husseini should be just as widely recognized as the Nazi that he is as Hitler or Mussolini is. But Islam has been scrubbed from WWII history, just as Islamic supremacists are trying to scrub jihad from the 911 Memorial and Museum. Same thing.

“Right wing group” — that’s what an organization that advocates for individual rights is called. Note the description, “anti-Muslim” group. The media is implying that all Muslims are Jew haters — oh, the islamophobia!

The right-wing group that once posted fiery anti-Muslim ads in New York City’s subways is at it again—this time in Washington, D.C.

For the next few weeks, straphangers in the nation’s capital will be greeted by Adolf Hitler during their morning commutes, thanks to a controversial new ad campaign that plastered a photo of the Nazi leader onto the sides of 20 D.C. buses.

The American Freedom Defense Initiative’s 15-foot ads show Hitler talking to Haj Amin al-Husseini, the grand mufti of Jerusalem who teamed up with the Nazis in an attempt to try to drive Jews out of Palestine. Al-Hesseini once supported Hitler’s policy of exterminating the Jews, the Washington Post reported.

“Islamic Jew-Hatred: It’s In the Quran,” the AFDI ad reads, calling for an end to U.S. aid given to Islamic countries.

“Stop racism,” the fiercely anti-Muslim group adds.
