Below is a link to a Wikipedia article on Ketchel.
      Of note:
      1) he was a famous champion boxer, nickname: "Michigan Assassin".
      2) he was the subject of the short story "The Light of the World" by Ernest Hemingway.
      3) he was murdered!
      4) he was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
      5) he was VERY devoted to his mother (note the gravestone comment and the reference to his mother in the Wikipedia article).
